Support Us
A quiet invitation to help sustain The Cognitive Equestrian Herd and the Humans of Horses Podcast
Why support this work?
The Cognitive Equestrian exists as a calm, social-media and advert free, reflective space for exploring horse-human relationships beyond training frameworks, performance and transaction.
Maintaining this space comes with practical, ongoing costs. Website hosting, podcast recording and production and basic infrastructure.
Support helps cover these essential costs so the work can remain accessible, ad-free and grounded in integrity.
There is no expectation to contribute. Your presence here is already valued.
If you feel like a monthly membership to the herd is too much of a commitment, but would like to offer something to this space, then there is the option below to offer a contribution of your choosing in value. Any contributions that exceed the annual running costs of this space will be gifted towards our current Chosen Charity.
You can also find here the option to Gift an Episode for the Humans of Horses Podcast.
Gift an Episode to the Humans of Horses Podcast, or make a one-off Contribution
One-Off Contributions
If you’d like to offer a one-off contribution, this is a simple way to help cover the running costs of the website and podcast, without the commitment of a membership monthly payment. Remember, you can still sign up as a Free Roamer if you want!
One-off contributions help support:
Website hosting and member areas
Podcast recording and production
The time and care required to hold this space for the Humans of Horses
There are no rewards, tiers or extras attached. This is just the opportunity to offer quiet support for something you find meaningful.
Gift a Podcast Episode
You may feel called to gift an episode of the Humans of Horses podcast. This is a fixed cost of £15.
Episode sponsorship helps directly fund:
Recording and editing
Hosting and distribution
The continuation of long-form, thoughtful conversations with the Humans of Horses
By gifting an episode, your name (or business) will be mentioned at the beginning or end of an episode. It will be in the form of a mention by me, with a description written by you.
It will not contain promotional language or advertising, just words from a place of integrity and community.
Where Support Goes
The aim of contributions and episode gifting is to cover the practical costs of sustaining this work, which currently include:
Squarespace (website and member areas)
Riverside (podcast recording and production)
Domain and basic infrastructure
These costs total approximately £400–£450 per year.
Any support received beyond these running costs is not taken as profit.
Instead, surplus funds are donated to equine-related charities, chosen with input from members of The Cognitive Equestrian Herd.
Members are invited monthly to suggest organisations they feel aligned with, and donations are made transparently.
